Design studio Ryan Harc must have observed many women digging in their black holes they called a bag looking for keys and came up with an genius idea- A pocket light! Its not another broken mini flash light banished to live as another trinket on your key chain. This, my dear, is a pocket light that is a sleek skinny card which slides in and out your wallet like money- honey (lol). Flip the light bulb up and it connects with a small battery and wa-la your light. It is one of the most compact lighting sources I have every seen. It provides adequate light for you to read or just to look for something in your overly sized pocket book.
I wish this light was in stores because I would go out and get it. I would carry this with me always like my phone…. Please Ryan Harc make these available to the public!!! Maybe if we flood their inbox with requests, they would put it into production.. finger crossed - This is my Style Décor, See if It’s Yours, Go and Explore.

My mother was never shy of using wall paper to get her style aesthetic. Our 1st floor bathroom is pasted with a beautiful green forest scenic which took 4 panels and hours to put up. She achieved her goal of having every guest to feel like you are copping a swat in the forest. Lol. The point is wall paper never left. However, it did take a nose dive late 80’s and early 90’s. It has reemerging with vengeance with the mid-century modern explosion.
One major player hit the scene in the year 2000 and transformed the wall paper game- Mr. Perswall. The Swedish company, Mr. Perswall used a digital printer to create any style of wall paper without using panels. How? They can print a pattern for an entire wall. So what would usually take several patience pasting hours might just take an hour.. There innovation and creative is conveyed in there motto “ There collections of wall paper always reflect what is and what feels contemporary in our society”.
This is displayed in there mass collections which is categorized in moods for example, communication, expression, adventure memories, nostalgic etc. In addition, you can upload your own photos or design to create mood on your wall. This is a company my mother wish existed in her wallpaper pasting days. So instead of painting, create a stylized wall with Mr. Perswall. This is my style décor, See if it yours go and Explore. Remember the chinaware of the past that your mother locked and suffocated in a china cabinet. These dishes only came out to breathe on holidays. As the years gone by, the use of the china cabinet as been utilized for everything except china like teapots, glassware, and random ridiculousness of kitschy vacation souvenirs . However, today, I found a set china that would make me build a china cabinet to protect it.
Handmade Limited Edition Fine Ceramics from Manos of Liverpool, Uk made a collection of fine bone china. These luminescent china pieces are beautiful. They are shaped oh- so delicately, and range from gold trim honeycomb vases to color blocking square bowls china.
These pieces would make perfect gift or just to add alittle class to your holidayplate setting . Manos’s china definitely brings back the “fine” in china. This is my Style décor, See if its yours, Go and Explore… See specs below...

On Febuary 7th Kick starter closed a campaign which had a goal of $18,000, however the recipients received $256,273. With that, I must say ,“Welcome to the market the Floyd Legs company”. Whats a Floyd leg? Floyd legs are detached iron table legs that could make a table or coffee table out any flat surface. How, by easily unscrewing the clamp to the specific height of the table and slide the flat surface in and screwing it back. Those quick introductions is how easy it is to use this product. That easy? That easy! Im jumping up in down because as an apartment dweller this is the best thing made since slice bread (well maybe not bread because that food and this is a table leg.. yeah you know what im say).
Now, I do not have to throw out a table because its too small or large. I would just adjust the table by cutting that table top or just changing it all together. So Floyd Legs, as a compact living, apartment dweller myself- I want to say thank you for bring these legs to my the market. You will have my order soon.

See ya there,
Inspiration can come from any wear. Menswear was my first love in the world of fashion. Most of the time I try to infuse menswear into any space I design for balance. If you’re starving for inspiration for your man’s cave or apartment- instead of a trite sport theme, how about channeling your favorite car interiors and colors into your design. This is My Style Decor, See If Its Yours, Go and Explore. ….
I was excited to see these pictures on Pinterest of a convertible balcony. So, of course I had to explore. Well it’s true; Coming to a city near you will be a convertible balcony.
Architect Hofman Dujardin from the Netherlands is known for designing amazing spaces and products. However his latest design “Bloomframe” proved that he understands the apartment dweller’s pain- lack of square footage. Bloomframe is a window that can automatically transform into a balcony. This transforming window increases your square footage by including an outdoor living space. He described this product as, “ As closed and abstract facade in the winter that open up like a flower in the summer”. I couldn’t have said it any better.
So take that!!!- house owners with your manicured lawns and backyard grilling. I can have a barbecue party too on my balcony with less maintenance and clean up. This is my Style Decor, See if it Yours, Go and Explore… See specs below..

I have a compulsion. I like to write on walls. As a child, my parents we’re not a fan of this which lead to many spankings. So you can understand as an adult and a artist how I gravitated towards graffiti, chalkboard paint, wall murals and graphics etc… If you have this compulsion too, trust me, its okay because now they make stuff like this “I See You", wallpaper.
Cavern a boutique wallpaper company created a wallpaper that brings the child out in any adult. “I see you” wallpaper is printed with many types of comic book eyes. You can choose any 2 eyes to create as many faces as you like. Now most people would use this for a child’s room. However, why not let your inner child come out to play. Put up these eyes up on in your entertainment room and see how many faces your guest can create. This is my style the decor, See if it’s yours, Go and Explore..
I know that most people are into the liquid soaps and hand sanitizers. However, I still like the plain -ole- bar of soap. My two reasons for using a bar of soap is: its cheaper and it last longer. My two down falls are: the residue left behind in a soap dish and lingering piece hair on a wet bar of soap… eeelllll. Well not anymore with product designer Nathalie Stamplfi Soap Flakes, I can use a bar soap without the mess.
Soap Flakes uses a bar of soap, placed it into the well designed grader and with a push, it shaves the soap into your hand. A cheap bar of soap + Soap Flakes = a win, win to me. This is cool.- Check out more Nathalie Stampfli clever designs. This is my Style Decor, See if its yours, Go and Explore… see specs below…

It’s been a couple of months since I posted anything because I’ve been in a uninspired funk. When that happens, I get quite. Then, Im on the hunt for my jolt. No, not the soft drink but inspiration which fills my heart up with design. Today was that day. I found my jolt- in one word “Gaultier”. Great fashion designers inspire me. They make appreciated detail, design, color, thinking outside the box, following your heart, and just being a f*cking maverick. How can you not be inspired by that? So thank you Brooklyn Museum and my friend Fresh for getting me out of my funk. Below are some pics of Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit in the Brooklyn Museum.. Good design relates to anything even decor. Lets see what you get out of it. This is my style decor, See if its yours go and Explore……
